Vintage apartment with a modern touch, on one of Lisbon's seven hills, in a quiet area of central Lisbon, in the neighbourhood of Arroios (just chosen by Time Out to be the coolest neighbourhood in the world: https://www.timeout.com/coolest-neighbourhoods-in-the-world), within waking distance of downtown, Chiado, lookout sites (São Jorge Castle, Torel, São Pedro de Alcântara, Graça), trams (15, 25, 28) and funiculars (Glória, Lavra, Santa Justa). The space A blend of vintage-era design and furniture with the comforts of contemporary living, the apartment, located on the Santana hill, in a beautifully preserved traditional Lisbon building, recreates the contrast of old and new that characterizes the experience of Lisbon on the whole. This first-floor, 85 square-meter apartment features two bedrooms, one with a 5-square-meter walk-in closet, and an ample living/dining space, articulated with an American-style kitchen, that encourages our guests to continue to share their travel experience with each other during their stay. The apartment has been completely renovated. The fully equipped kitchen, with brand new appliances, includes a high capacity washing/drying machine, a dishwasher, a glass-ceramic stove, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a fridge-freezer, an expresso coffee machine, an electric kettle, an electric hand blender, a toaster, a sandwich press, napkins, paper towels, organic clothes detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid, organic Portuguese olive oil and balsamic vinegar, unrefined organic Portuguese seasalt, a wide variety of teas (including organic Portuguese tea from the Azores), unrefined fair-trade organic sugar, a range of cooking spices, different cleaning materials (anti-bacterial wipes, sponge, drying cloths, dustpan, broom, mop and bucket, trash bags, etc.), and a recycling bin. The apartment also features high speed Wi-Fi, a 32´ Sony LCD TV with free access to many international and kids channels, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, high quality bed linens (100% cotton), full sets of 100% cotton towels, hypoallergenic duvets (winter & summer) and pillows (soft and medium), extra blankets, organic liquid hand soap and toilet paper. All children under 3 years old stay free of charge. Child's cot/crib, baby bath, potty, high chair, little chair, children's books in 4 different languages, toys and games are available for free upon request. For children aged 3 and over, please book them as extra guests. We can also provide babysitting services upon request, depending on availability. Other things to note This apartment is not suitable for a wheelchair user or people with serious mobility issues, as it is located on a first floor, only accessible by stairs. Due to Portuguese law, we need to record the visiting dates and ID information of all non-Portuguese citizens who use paid holiday accommodation. All guests must thus provide the following information upon check-in: - Full name and nationality; - Date and place of birth; - ID document type, number and country of issue; - Country and place of residence.
