Enjoy and relax in our home built in 1896. We have kept many of the nuances that come with an old home, such as claw foot bath tub with halo shower, a few squeaky floorboards. We have A/C in the guest bedroom. The rest of the house is kept cool with proper use of fans circulating the outside air. We live 1/2 mile from downtown restaraunts/bars, 3/4 mile from the hospital,3/4 mile from grocery store, 1/2 mile from 18 mile round trip bike/walking path. The guest room has A/C for sleeping comfort. Although we only have one bed (Queen size) that sleeps two, we do have two twin size air mattresses for extra guests...would work well for kids. Roku TV in room with antenna hookup for network channels and over a hundred streaming, also Hulu and Amazon Prime. We do have toys to occupy little ones. We have one bathroom, shared with us, and we will put our guests bathroom needs above ours. Wifi available throughout the house. Dining room and kitchen are available to prepare food and eat. No microwave available. Refrigerator, stove and laundry room are available for use. We will have cereal/poptarts, toast, fruit, coffee/tea, etc. available for breakfast. Living room available to hangout in . We like our guests to make themselves feel at home. We are both retired. We occasionally have our two grandson (ages 9&7) for a weekend sleepover, but they will not have access to your room. We will respect your quiet space We love to ride bikes, hike, and go for walks in the neighborhood as well as sitting out back enjoying our fire pit. We would love to share our biking/walking routes with you if you would like company. We are willing to give great directions for your bike rides on the road or ride with you if you want our company. We are always interested in sitting around the fire pit swapping stories. However we can be of help just ask us. We understand simple quiet time also. Let us know what you need. We walk our neighborhood daily. We walk to the grocery store, parks, ymca and locally owned restaurants. We enjoy living in the center of Lancaster for this reason. We have terrific neighbors and feel fortunate to live where we live. We would love to share our small part of the world with you. If you would like us to drive you or give directions, just ask us. We would love to help you in any way we can. Our Lancaster Festival is coming up in July. Come join us in enjoying music and the arts which is held downtown Lancaster, the fairgrounds and OU-L which is 2 miles away. We would be more than happy to drive you and pick you up so you can enjoy the festivities. We live 20 min from Hocking Hills area.
