The World is your Oyster with a cozy room, a private bath, and a water view…perfect for the solo or business traveler. The Norwalk River provides beautiful sunrises. You might see migrating shore birds or oyster boats leaving at dawn. Please note: this room is cooled by breeze through an open window. We also provide a tower fan; but no a/c. Coffee, tea and self-serve breakfast bar included. Free parking. Wilton, Westport and Norwalk workplare nearby ; NYC is one hour away. The space Catch a view of oyster boats at sunrise — right from your room. You'll rest easy in a quiet, cozy room with your own private bath. You may share our sunroom and dining area. Please note: we do not have an air conditioner in your room. The room is cooled with an oscillating tower fan, although often not necessary, and shore breezes through your window. Guest access You will have access to the sunroom, dining room and living room and a shelf in our family fridge. Enjoy breakfast on the front porch with a view of the harbor. We provide a breakfast bar with a selection of coffee, teas, and cereals, for our on-the-go guests. Need exercise? Our nearby beaches provide opportunities for walking or running. During your stay Your privacy is respected and interaction is really up to you. Everyone in our home is vaccinated and boosted against COVID. Lynn is an artist and horticulturist; she is happy to share her knowledge of local galleries and museums. J is a writer and Norwalk native. We have both lived in Connecticut most of our lives and are happy to help you find what you need or desire in our little state. Other things to note To make Airbnb a pleasant experience for all sharing our household, we require a number of positive reviews (at least 3!) from all guests. Although we love pets (we have a cat), we aren’t set up to host them. We rely on coastal breezes to cool our home in all but the warmest months.
