Experience the real Venice in an apartment set in a historic Venetian building, just a 5-minute walk from the Rialto Market – one of the city’s oldest and most picturesque areas, with its bridge and open-air market. Although situated in the heart of the city, the accommodation is located in a quiet side street, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing stay. The space Perfect for families or small groups, the flat comfortably accommodates up to 5 people. It is located on the second floor of an old Venetian building with a lovely courtyard and an external staircase leading to the upper floors. The apartment features an entrance hall that can be used as a study, a spacious double bedroom with high ceilings and excellent soundproofing; from here, you enter a smaller bedroom with a queen-size bed and a lovely window. Two further beds are provided by the double sofa bed in the living room, a very bright space with ceilings over 3 metres high and two large windows. It has a fully equipped kitchen-diner, ideal for preparing fresh produce bought at the nearby market. It has a full bathroom with a window, ensuring plenty of light and natural ventilation. Take a look at the floor plan to get a better idea of the layout. Guest access Arrival and Departure Time of arrival is normally from 4:00 p.m till 7:00 p.m., time of departure before 10:00 a.m. If you are late I will arrange a self check-in. Few weeks before your stay I will send you detailed arrival instructions. It is important that we know your arrival time so that we may plan to be able to welcome you, showing the apartment and delivering the keys. Don’t worry we will arrange everything by chat! Colud be possible that I will not able to welcome you: in this case my daughter will be at your disposal or we will arrange a self check in. Starting from the 24th of August 2011 The Municipality of Venice has established the tourist tax with City Council resolution no.83 of the 23-24 June 2011 and no.233 of the 2017. The tax is applied to the overnight stays of non-residents in the Municipality of Venice for a maximum of 5 consecutive nights. For this accommodation facility the tax amounts to Euros 4 per person per night (February 1-December 31), 2,80 per person per night (January 1-31) The following exemptions are available: - children under 10 years old are not subject to tourist tax - for children between 10 and 16 years old 50% off Please payment cash on arrival. Other things to note The flat offers a bygone-era atmosphere combined with modern comforts, as it is situated in a historic building. Forget the crowded vaporetti: from here, you can walk to all the main attractions. You’re just a stone’s throw from the traditional taverns and ‘bacari’ of Rialto, but once you close the front door, you’ll be enveloped in complete tranquillity. The apartment has very high ceilings and antique wooden floors; it also features two highly effective and quiet ceiling fans, one in the living room and the other in the master bedroom, as well as air conditioning to ensure you can relax in complete comfort and stay cool during the hottest summer months. The flat is located in a historic building, and we are not permitted to make any major alterations. For this reason, although the bathroom is fully equipped and features a large window that ensures plenty of natural light and ventilation, the shower is not very spacious: taller guests or those with reduced mobility may find it a little cramped.
