Description
Lovely sunny and typical Parisian flat in the center of Paris with balcony and beautiful view, on 6th floor (with elevator) of a traditional Parisian building: 1 bedroom (with double bed for 2p), 1 living room, and 1 dining room, separated fully equipped kitchen, 1bathroom, with public transports(subway-metro/bus/train)& shop at the foot of the building! Also at 10min walking distance to famous sightseeings in the 5th arrondissement: Quartier Latin Saint-Michel Notre-Dame The space My home is a typical Parisian apartment (parquet hard wood floors, two nice fireplaces, decorated ceilings), on the 6th floor (with an elevator) of a typically traditional Parisian "Haussmannien" building. Its specificity and charm is for me, that its large double living room and bedroom are illuminated via three inward-opening windows, all of which access a long bordering balcony running along the whole length of the flat. Making it very bright and offering a beautiful open view on the Pitie Salpetriere Hospital and its gardens. In more details, this 50 sqm flat offers: - A bedroom with a double bed (1m40) perfect for couple; - A living room with a couch, coffee table and big flat screen TV; - A dining room with table, chairs and a small couch; - A separated fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, cooktops, microwave and also a dish washer and a washing machine for clothes; - A bathroom with lavabo, toilet and shower; - A balcony all along the apartment with a small table and two chairs: ideal for your morning coffee, a meal or a drink at evenings! Guest access The entire apartment is left at your disposal, since it is my real only home that I only rent when I am away myself. It is fully equipped, furnished and has all basic amenities, since an authentic Parisian (myself:)) inhabits it yearly. Other things to note IMPORTANT TO KNOW and take into account: -My apartment is BEST SUITED FOR A COUPLE (as there is only one main bedroom with a double bed (1m40)), or for friends sleeping together. Maybe also suitable for a couple with a young child/teenager (the child can sleep on the sofa bed in the dining room/2nd part of the living room). But the sofa bed is small: just fits 1person, and is a very basic simple one, not very comfy so not at all recommended for an adult (unless you don't mind less comfort) and best for a kid/teenager. -My apartment CAN BE NOISY as it is oriented on the street near the subway, it is what gives it its amazing open view from my balcony, but can be difficult if you are very noise sensitive. So when windows are open, you can hear typical traffic and metro noise. When windows are closed the apartment is much more quiet. Also it is a typical Parisian old flat with wooden floors that creak. -NO AIR-CONDITIONING IS ALLOWED but I have 2 very efficient Dyson ventilators. Indeed it is a typical Parisian old protected building "Haussmannien" type that is protected, so no A/C units are allowed to not destroy their outside looks. -For FLEXIBLE CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES: I TRY MY BEST TO OFFER THIS FAVOR to accommodate my guests BUT I CANNOT GUARANTEE ANYTHING because it really doesn't only on me but on the situation on the day of your arrival/departure (=whether I have or not guests before you / when they will accept or need to leave my place / and also on my cleaning person availability that day as he runs between his other jobs every day and make his schedule week per week. So be assured I ll try to manage my best but really cannot guarantee anything in advance and I can be flexible but you need to be too please, as I cannot unfortunately offer a hotel level service, being just a normal girl, not a professional with a dedicated staff. -WIFI internet and cable TV are available free of charge. -All linens (linen, sheets and bathroom towels) are clean and provided for free. -I try my best to always leave all basic needed amenities in my apartment for my guests: (soap & shampoo & toilet paper, hair dryer and an iron, and in the kitchen all basics: sugar, salt&pepper, coffee&tea for my guests etc...). -This is actually MY HOME where I live and where my things are. It is NOT A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS so my things are inside and in wardrobes. I leave some empty spaces for guests in wardrobe etc, but it is still a personal home with personal things inside, so if you are looking for a more professionally organised business/ hotel style like accommodation and service, my home is not recommended.
