Top floor balcony w/hammock & awning, lots of sun & excellent 180° views towards the city centre & the fjord in central, multicultural & Oslo's most vibrant area, Grønland! One metro stop or 10min walk to the train station, 7min walk to the bus station & 2 city bikes included. Excellent public transport (incl. all metro lines) throughout town & to all sights & attractions. Two more may sleep on a double bed (140cm wide) in the same room, whilst two more may sleep on the sofa bed (160cm wide, also w/new mattresses) in the living room. If four or more people wish to book, please ask first/do not use instant booking. Also, from time to time both rooms may be rented (please find separate add starting with "Central design penthouse ..." through my profile). Beautiful balcony & views w/hammock made by a political prisoner in Chiapas, Mexico Living room & open kitchen combined A light, self service breakfast (cereals + coffee/tea) is included as of February 2017 onwards. Fully equipped kitchen & luxury bathroom (floor heating temporarily out of order). Projector, home cinema & large 55' smart TV (from Sept 2019)! The historical building from 1898 features brick walls & a fireplace, making the apartment well cozy, despite being in the heart of the capital. As should be expected in a historical building protected by law from alterations, there is no lift & the penthouse/loft is on the top floor (obviously). The climb to the 5th floor is in a setting of beautiful brick walls, wooden stairs & classic railings, all of which attract my attention daily. If I'm at home when you arrive, I'll be happy to get some free exercise by helping out with the suitcases :) Alternatively, a private storage room in the basement is available. The apartment comes with 2 city bike cards (upon request in advance & subject to availability. Season Apr-Nov). The nearest stations are only two blocks away in either direction, & it's an excellent way of exploring the city. By foot is also great! If I'm free, I'd be happy to take you to the private rooftop terrace a few blocks away featuring the centre of Oslo's best panoramic views (in my humble opinion..). The furniture will differ & constantly change as I love remodelling & upgrading. Improvements so far include revolutionary design, brand new heated floors, modern stove, a well nice dining table & a brand new bathroom (Feb, 2018). I also knocked down two walls (making the kitchen & the living room bigger) & dug out yet another brick wall. In January 2016, a brand new & fancy kitchen was installed. Also, an antique world map is looking for its perfect spot in the living room ceiling. Guest access - Paid private parking (underground, heated and secure) available upon request (preferably in advance & subject to availability), only 5 mins walk from the apt! Price: the same as street side parking: NOK 333,- per day - Access to excellent, private rooftop terrace w/360° panorama & fjord views from the 15th & 16th floor (upon request - preferably in advance & subject to availability); 5 mins away on foot)! - Amazing balcony w/views & hammock - Beautiful backyard & garden - Excellent espresso (& coffee) machine! - A light, self service breakfast (cereals + coffee/tea) is included as of February 2017 onwards - Shared kitchen, bathroom & living room - Wifi (fast!) - Combined washing machine & dryer - Humidifier & ionizer for a cleaner, fresher & more comfortable indoor climate: The fanciest & most expensive model readily available in Oslo, where the air gets well dry, especially in winter - Iron - Umbrellas - Hair dryer - 2 city bikes available upon request in advance, subject to availability & season (Apr-Nov) - Fancy the smaller & cheaper room in the apartment?
