The Hideaway is a unique off-grid campsite on the Kansas prairie in a copse of trees. You can enjoy the beauty of nature and the comforts of home. Inside this beautiful Lotus Belle tent there is a cozy queen size bed, a dinette equipped with place-settings for 2, a sitting area and a wood burning stove. Outside the tent you'll enjoy our kitchen with a smoker/grill and gas stove, dining area and fire pit. The eco-friendly bathhouse has shower, sink and composting toilet. We provide most things needed to enjoy this space. You should consider bringing a cooler with food and drinks. There is water available from the well that is suitable for drinking if you like. Slip on shoes for leaving at the tent door is requested. Bug repellent is encouraged. This site is located at our home. We have children and many animals on our 24 acre property. Someone is almost always available to assist in helping if needed, yet we will respect your privacy. Our space is rural and mostly secluded. Our property has a walking path and an amazing view of the prairie with many native plants and flowers. Adults over 18 only.
