The Hideaway is a unique off-grid campsite on the Kansas prairie in a copse of trees. You can enjoy the beauty of nature and the comforts of home. Inside this beautiful Belle tent there is a cozy queen size bed, a dinette equipped with place-settings for 2, a sitting area and a heater. Outside the tent you'll enjoy our kitchen with a smoker/grill and gas stove, dining area and fire pit. The eco-friendly bathhouse has shower, sink and composting toilet. The space We provide most things needed to enjoy this space. You should consider bringing a cooler with food and drinks. There is water available from the well that is suitable for drinking if you like. Slip on shoes for leaving at the tent door is requested. Bug repellent is encouraged. Seasonal Campsite Maintenance Notice Water Service: Due to winter conditions, potable water service has been temporarily suspended to prevent infrastructure damage from freezing temperatures. Water utilities will be restored once overnight temperatures consistently remain above 32°F (0°C) for a minimum of seven consecutive days, typically occurring in mid-April. Site Privacy: The campsite's natural landscape provides optimal privacy during the period from May through October, characterized by dense foliage and mature tree coverage that ensures guest seclusion and an immersive natural experience.
