Other things to note The house was built in 1924 as a family house for Aleksander Martinson (aka Avar Esko Marand). Family emigrated to Sweden in 1944. In 1990s daughter of Aleksander Martinson started to renovate and revive the house step by step. The house is atmospheric, situated in Pärnu villas district and still carrying the vibe of 1930-40s.
