The apartment is located in the historic center of Porto, World Heritage of UNESCO, in the oldest street of the city. Is part of a building with 3 dwellings rehabilitated in May 2015. The space The house is about 45m2 and it's a duplex. It is equipped with a queen size bed in the bedroom (downstairs) and a sofa with two single beds in the living room (upstairs), a bathroom and kitchen fully equipped. The bathroom is in the bedroom. The location is privileged to discover the historic center of Porto on foot. Just a few meters are two of the most beautiful sights of the city. If you prefer to use the metro, the station of S. Bento is just 5 minutes away. At the same distance, going down towards the Douro River, you will be in Ribeira, and crossing the bridge D. Luiz you can visit the Oporto wine cellars. Nearby there are several monuments to visit, such as Palácio da Bolsa, Casa do Infante, São Francisco church and Torre dos Clérigos, all less than 10 minutes away. In the center, there is a huge variety of bars and typical Portuguese restaurants to choose from, so you can find the various options, from simple and traditional to the most sophisticated and contemporary. By bus or tram you can easily reach the beaches of Foz. For nightlife, we recommend the Galerias de Paris Street which is a 10 min walk in uptown. Guest access The apartment has a separate entrance in direct contact with the street. Access is done with a code. Our street is very leaned, as the rest of the city. Be prepared to do some gimnastic! Please note that access to the closest street by car is limited to residents. Other things to note - In the neighborhood live local, genuine Porto people. Be prepared to listen to Fado and Portuguese music during the day. - Electronic Complaints Book Available - For your information there is a motion detector alarm/intrusion alarm in the livingroom, over the stairs.
