Big first floor flat in chalet, ideally located, very peaceful. View of the highest mountains of the Alps and of the Aosta Valley. Direct access to ski pistes. The space The chalet is about 12 km. far from Aosta and 3 km. far from Pila but we are just 400 meter far from the “Plan Praz” middle station of the brand new Aosta- Pila cable car. In winter time you can ski down from the house to the cable car station and then you may go, by cable car, up to Pila (about 4 minutes) or down to Aosta (less then15 minutes). From Pila you can ski down to the house. Depending on how much snow there is and the kind of car you have, you may park your car in front of the chalet or in a parking lot along the Aosta-Pila road, the house being about 200 meter far. In the end, we are actually on the ski slopes, but out of the cars and skiers traffic in Pila, and, most important, you can avoid using the car. Guest access One big double bed bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds, a large living room with armchairs and a double sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom (with a low ceiling), balcony. It is for up to six people in 90 square meters. You will find : complete kitchen equipment, gas cooker with oven, fridge with separate freezer, microwave, hairdryer, laundry machine, stereo, tv set with dvd player, quilts and covers for six, wood and plastic sledges, wi-fi. You are free to roam over an area with 70 km of pistes just beyond your doorstep.Twelve ultramodern lifts, moving 19.700 persons an hour will speed you up to where you want to go. In a 3 km. range from your flat you'll find tipical restaurants, pubs, discoteque, shops, drugstore, bank, amusment park, adventure park, kindergarden. Aosta is a city rich in Roman and Medieval remains, exhibition centres and museums, and represents the historical and cultural heart of Valle d’Aosta … and it’s only a short walk away from Pila – just 15 minutes by cable-car. This “Rome of the Alps” (so called due to its huge cultural heritage) is the ideal place for an aperitif, to do some shopping in the old centre or spend an evening until late at a “Saison Culturelle” show – you can chose from cinema, theatre or concerts. In January each year, the thousand-year old “Fiera di Sant’Orso” is the most important and ancient craft fair of the region. Just a few kilometres away from Aosta are numerous medieval castles and manor houses, the most famous being Issogne, Verrès, Fénis and Sarre which naturally you can visit.
