LITTLE RETREAT. Rural village close to the sea

Stay in a very warm and cosy cottage and enjoy all that Dorset has to offer or just chill out and relax. A one bedroom cottage set in the owners beautiful walled garden with guest parking. In a village with easy access to Dorset's fabulous coast, countryside and main attractions. Two local pubs and cafe within easy walking. The space Perfect accommodation for two. Little Retreat is a separate cottage within the grounds of our house. We are available should you need us but otherwise we will give you all the privacy you need to enjoy your holiday. (For short periods we may let our own property out, similarly to a couple, whilst we do a little travelling) Bedroom: A solid wrought iron bed with a topper and Egyptian cotton bedding. A bath sheet and hand towel each are provided for your stay. Bathroom: a bath with shower over and a heated towel rail. A cupboard containing a washing machine. Sitting Room: a comfortable large sofa, Smart TV, DVD and WiFi. French doors leading onto a wooden deck. The deck is south facing with views over surrounding fields. There is seating year round and in the summer there are loungers. Kitchen: very well equipped with all you need to cook in should you chose to. We provide washing up liquid, pan scrubber, tea towel and J cloth for your stay. The cottage is lovely and warm and is bathed in sunlight all day long. The deck catches the very last of the evening sun. The heating within the cottage is efficient and Little Retreat quickly heats up. Guest access The keys are kept in a key safe. On booking, details of the key safe location and the code to open it are sent to you. Access to the cottage is through the small gate and then down the gravel drive to your left and Little Retreat is facing you. Follow the path around to the front door. With this information you are able to arrive and enter the property yourselves. It allows you to not have to be precise about arrival times. We are more than happy to meet you and help you with access should you need it. Just let us know. Other things to note Parking: there is an allocated parking spot for guests on the gravel parking area to the right of the main gates. We have a Labradoodle called Skye who loves everybody. She can be a bit enthusiastic with her greeting sometimes but she is a very gentle dog.
