Spacious & spotless studio 20 min town and beach.

No 2 Tom's Yard is a self contained studio/Flat in a peaceful location, 20 minutes walk from the town Centre and beaches. Perfect for couples. It is independent (only for you), with a king-size bed, a sofa bed, a travel cot, en suite shower, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, twin hob, microwave and wifi. Ideally situated to explore both the golden beaches and the surrounding area. We have a studio nearby and can offer screenprinting as an extra activity to your holiday. The space The studio apartment is situated on the ground floor of our eco house and it is self contained and for two people and a baby ( we provide a cot) The Studio is a separated space from our house but due to the C19 situation we have created a small and private outdoor patio. All the fittings of the apartment, utensils, furniture, bedding and decor have been recently updated and are thoroughly cleaned after each guest departure in order to make you feel safe. You do not need to bring toiletry, sheets and towels; we provide these free of charge and also an iron and hair dryer. We do not use shoes in the house to maintain the wooden floors clean and we provide a wooden shoe rack at the entrance of the studio. We offer basic goods as teas, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic and a selection of herbs and spices. Washing-up liquid, toiletries and sponges are also provided. The walls display an ever changing collection of recent prints and paintings either by ourselves or local artists. Please feel free to ask for a price list if you wish to purchase any of the work. We will be delighted! We accept children under two free of charge and we can provide a cot, but please let us know in advance clearly. We expect you to leave the studio in good condition :) and please when booking mark the amount of people coming (no more than 3) Thank you for reading. KITCHEN AND LIVING AREA: - Electric hobs - Fridge - Microwave with grill - An electric oven is available if requested in advance - All necessary cooking utensils - All essential crockery, cutlery, cooking tools and glasses are provided - Teapot and a large French cafetiere. Electric coffee maker. - Kitchen towels, sponges and cleaning products - Tea, coffee and sugar - Salt and pepper - Olive oil and balsamic vinegar - Flat screen TV - WIFI - Sofa and dining table with two chairs - Bookshelf (with some finely selected books!) - A sofa bed (in case you come with a child this is free). A third adult is an extra cost a day (including sheets, toiletries and towels). - There will be an extra charge to cover the bedding if two adults book who do not share the double bed and require the sofa bed as well. - Iron - Hair dryer SLEEPING AREA - A very comfortable king-size bed with duvet, pillows, cotton sheets. - A sofa bed is available for a third person. If you book as a couple but want to also use the sofa bed then there is a charge of £10 to cover the extra bedding and laundry. - Wardrobe with 8 hangers - Chest of drawers - bed side tables and lamps with plug socket for charging your phone - Full body mirror BATHROOM - All essential toiletries - Shower, hands and face towels - Spacious power shower - Heated towel rail - Washing machine Guest access The apartment is safe, self contained (means not shared with anyone else) and with designated parking and a small patio behind with a bistro table and chairs. These furniture is available during spring and summer. A security key box outside will enable access for late arrivals. Please note that we do not wear shoes indoors. We kindly advise to bring sleepers or indoor shoes. Other things to note Close to the house is the world famous Leach Pottery, established in 1920 and now an important heritage site. The Tate Gallery is a 20 minutes walk, as are the golden sand beaches of Porthminster, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden and the St Ives Harbour. We advise to check in opening times advance. We are also on the bus route (16, 16A) that runs between St Ives and Penzance, and also the Land's End Coaster open top double decker bus which gives spectacular views across this heritage landscape.
