Come and take a break in the nurturing arms of nature. The Count House was once a Mine office, now it is a light filled holiday cottage. Set on a wooded hillside with stunning views over the River Tamar. The private garden steeps you in nature with deer, swallows and brimstones all regular visitors. The space You arrive by driving down a wooded track that brings you out onto the slopes of the Tamar Valley. The side door accesses a hall way with a kitchen, bathroom leading off to the left and a lounge in front of you. From the lounge a door can be opened straight onto the garden. The bedroom is accessed off the lounge. All rooms have windows facing out over the valley. Guest access There is one small step leading from the car parking space to the main entrance and two steps from the door out into the garden. Other things to note Please note before booking - Changeover day at the Count House is on a Friday- I will consider other requests but may have to decline depending on who's booked in before and after. From Easter to the end of September the minimum stay is 5 nights and then 3 nights for the rest of the year except Christmas which is again a minimum of 5 nights. The main heating is provided by storage heaters. A wood burner is available in the lounge and I provide a large basket of wood and kindling which if used wisely can last three nights. Once this is gone, extra wood can be obtained from the local supermarkets and garages. Thank You
