It has a spacious living/dining room with comfy sofabed, cable TV, docking station, wifi ... The two bedrooms both have a new double bed and a 5th person can sleep on the bedsofa in the living. In the bathroom you will find a handy washer/dryer and hair dryer. You can eat out in the neighbourhood or cook you own meals in the modern fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, toaster, Senseo coffee maker etc.). In the kitchen you will also find basic food stuff such as coffee, tea, sugar, spices, etc. Everything is fully appointed - we even throw in the towels! For the little ones we have high chairs, a travel cot, toys, board games, plastic dishes, children's cutlery etc You can have breakfast, dinner or a drink on the large terrace looking out over the city. Popular hangouts (artsy and alternative scene) are all within walking distance ('t Laar, Kerkstraat, café Bakeliet, Mombasa, resto Miro, ...) Near the UGC cinema in the Breydelstraat you will find a square full of small restaurants where you can eat outside. Shops, train station, zoo, cinema, restaurants and public transport are around the corner, perfect for a weekend or midweek exploring the city. There is parking space available in the street (4 euro daily) or in a commercial parking lot nearby. Why not discover Antwerp and its surroundings by bike ? Pick up one of the Velokes (the popular bike rental system) at the nearby Central Station. Our apartment is ~15 mins walking from the central station. Here you can get direct train connections to Brussels & Ghent (40 mins), Bruges, Amsterdam (2 hrs), Paris (2 hrs 40 minutes) …. There are tourist information/maps in the apartment to ensure you have a wonderful time exploring Antwerp. Please note that this apartment is on the roof of the building. This means that you have an elevator to the 7th floor and you have to take a staircase (14 steps) to the 8th floor.
