The Stone House between the Streams

While staying here, you will get to drive over a little bridge and past a winding stream to get to our historic stone house where you will stay. The original structure was built in 1758. Out in the country with Amish neighbors all around, you will be delighted with the peaceful environment created by the little streams, rustic barn, and buggies going by on the road. The property use to be a winery with it's own vineyards. The house was where the vintner lived. The space Guests will love the reclining couch and reclining chairs in front of the fireplace. The fireplace is real and for you to enjoy! It's a cozy spot on cold winter evenings, and we supply the wood. Also, the living room has a bay window overlooking the huge front yard. It's a perfect spot to watch the buggies go by. The bathroom is newly remodeled with a soaking tub and shower. The original stone walls of the house are exposed in here. Any children will be delighted with a little play room upstairs that also has a desk for those who want to work while away. Please note: THERE IS NO KITCHEN. The mini fridge is similar to what you would have at a hotel, but the other accommodations are much more spacious! Feel free to eat out, or get food delivered in. Dutchway Farm Market, 3 minutes away has a little walk in deli for a quick meal, or dine in at their restaurant. Pizza Box, also just minutes away, will deliver pizza as well. Guest access Please make yourself at home, we love when we see guests enjoying our property. We have lots of outside space you can use like a fire pit, lots of wooded area for a picnic or a walk, patio area, deck, or you can sit down by the stream to enjoy the peace and quiet sound of rushing water. These are all shared spaces, so please be respectful to other guest when using them. Psalm 23:2 says: "He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul." Our prayer for our guests is that your stay here would restore and refresh your soul and give you an opportunity to reflect on our Heavenly Father's love and care for us. Other things to note * You will need to be able to climb stairs to reach the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom is on the second floor.
