Location, location, location! Experience true Outer Banks life at our home on the famous & historic Soundside Rd in Nags Head. Just a short walk away from a family friendly sound beach access & Jockey's Ridge, sound views and sunsets are unbeatable. AND, the OCEAN is a 2 minute drive! Inside, we offer 1BD/1BA w/ an additional tiny twin room, as well as a cozy living area & small kitchenette. Outside, enjoy a peaceful deck & birds, bunnies, etc Enjoy your separate entrance guest suite paradise! The space The sunsets are unbeatable! Take a 5 minute walk each night to see the sun set over the sound, or simply lounge on the porch and watch the sky change colors after a long day of fun on the Outer Banks. The ocean is a 2 minute drive across the main street. Jockey's Ridge is a 5 minute walk. Climb to the top for amazing ocean views, hang glide, or fly a kite! Our house is very centrally located, so other sights to see like The Wright Brothers Memorial and Bodie Island Lighthouse are only 15 minutes away. You can also easily take a day trip up to Duck/Corolla or south down to Hatteras or Ocracoke. Your vacation options are only limited by your adventurous spirit :) Just want to relax? Grab a book off our shelves :) The guest suite is attached to our house, located at the end of a long and private gravel driveway. Our home is a historic Nags Head cottage, built in the early 1900s, while the guest suit is an addition built in the late 80s. You will have a dedicated parking space as well as a separate entrance and porch to the guest suite. Inside, you will find brand new memory foam mattresses, bedding, extra pillows & blankets, and towels...everything you need to be comfy and cozy. The guest suite bedrooms host 1 king and 1 twin bed (twin bed is a 5" mattress and not suitable for adult taller than 5'10", ideal for a child or small adult) to sleep 3. The king is a 12” memory foam. The full bathroom comes equipped with a shower (no tub), shampoo, conditioner, & soap. The 32" Smart TV in the living room with Wifi is ready for you to watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. through your own accounts. ***Please note, the wifi is not always strong, so please do not rely on it for perfection. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, sink, toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and storage. ***Please note, there is NO STOVE COOKTOP OR OVEN*** The use of any personal cooking device (hot plate, electric/gas burners, grills, etc) is NOT permitted due to fire hazard. Enjoy the eat in table & chairs in the living room or sit on the porch overlooking beautiful trees and wildlife. We also provide two adult bikes (use at your own risk) and two beach chairs. Our house is perfect for couples (with or without a child), friends, and kite boarding/water sport enthusiasts. Our sound access is prime realty for families, so get out there without having to worry about parking!
