The Room Sat or room number 7 is a clean, cozy and stylish room with: 1. 1 large double bed with cotton bed linen and 6 inch Sleepwell mattress. 2. 1 working desk 3. AC 4. Bathroom with 1 washbasin, 1 loo + shower. TV: There is no TV in the room. There is a TV in the common room only. Note: Rooms and bathrooms are STRICTLY NON Smoking. Smoking will lead to heavy fines. 2. The Guest House Designed and decorated in a chic and modern industrial design language, Jugaad is a budget accommodation providing clean, hygienic and well maintained facilities with top notch hospitality. We are located on the 4th and 5th floor with lift, of the Jhandu Mansion building in Mohammadpur village. You exit the lift on the 3rd floor and enter the guest house through a security gate. On the 4th floor we have 4 private rooms with attached bathrooms and balconies. 1 - 10 bed dorm with multiple attached bathrooms, a comfy common room with lounge seating and a common TV and the reception. On the 5th floor we have a large rooftop garden with ample greenery, outdoor seating, swings and hammocks where you can relax and while away the evenings with panoramic views of the South Delhi skyline. The 5th floor also has the semi equipped common kitchen, available for guest use, staff room and store and has 4 private rooms at the back. 3. The Location The Guest house is located in the busy urban village of Mohammadpur, RK Puram, behind Bhikaji Cama Place & Hyatt Hotel, opposite Safdarjung Enclave in South Delhi. The urban village of Mohammadpur is a busy and crowded nook of South Delhi with shops, offices and apartments. There are multiple daily needs shops and stores right under the guest house for groceries and fresh fruit and veg. Ample parking right under the building on a first come first serve basis. We are the perfect location to explore the city and enjoy its many experiences. ~ Note: Mohammadpur is a busy and crowded urban village and it is not a posh South Delhi colony. The last 200 meters of the approach will be through a crowded and busy road and the building entrance is also in a busy alley. Once you enter Jugaad, it is a totally different space and experience. 4. Reach us Driving: We are behind Bhikaji Cama place & Hyatt hotel in Mohammadpur village, RK Puram on the inner ring road. Metro: 10mins walking from the Bhikaji Cama station on the pink line of the Delhi metro. Airport: T1D is 8.5kms or 20-30mins driving and T2 and T3 are about 14kms or 30-40mins driving. Railway stations: Hazrat Nizamuddin and Old Delhi Railway stations are also in about 30-45mins driving distance. 5. Nearby We are in RK Puram sector 1, right next to Bhikaji Cama Place, Hyatt Hotel, Safdarjung Enclave. Deer Park, Hauz Khas Village, JNU, IIT Delhi, Green Park, South Campus, Diplomatic enclave and the embassies in Chanakya Puri, AIIMS & Safdarjung Hospitals and Connaught Place in central Delhi are 5-30 mins driving. Famous Delhi malls like DLF Emporio, DLF Vasant Kunj and Select City, shopping areas like Sarojini Nagar market, South Ex and Hauz Khas Village and Shahpur Jat are about 15-30 mins by cab. Auro, Summer House Cafe and Piano Man Jazz Bar are within 15mins driving distance. 6. Parking We have a large mcd parking lot (100 cars) in front of the guest house and it is first come first serve basis. There is no dedicated parking for guests and its chargable. If you are coming after 8PM or in the morning before 8AM parking will not be an issue, but in the day sometimes the parking gets full. 7. Gym We have a gym in the basement of our building. The charges are INR 250/- per visit. ~ House Rules 1. Food Meals are not included. We have a small cafe serving home cooked food along with some street food and continental snacks. Swiggy and Zomato also deliver food from all over the city. 2. Check-in & Check-out Check in time is 14:00 and check out time is 10:00. Please stick to the timings, late check out and early check in is subject to charge. 3. Photo IDs Valid photo IDs are required at check in with address, for all guests. Check in will not be allowed without photo IDs. For international guests we need a valid visa and passport. We do not accept Delhi NCR IDs and do not allow check-in to residents of Delhi NCR either. 4. WIFI We have high speed wifi available at the property. 5. No Smoking Rooms, bathrooms, common room, gallery and stairs are strictly non smoking. You can use the balconies and the rooftop smoking area. Smocking inside will lead to heavy fines. 6. Non Residents Non resident people are not allowed in the guest house at any time. Only people who are checked with photo IDs are allowed to enter. 7. Noise and Disturbance We do not allow any noise or loud music after 10:00PM. You are welcome to have a great stay and enjoy your time with us, but please be respectful of other and their space also. 8. Be kind Please be kind and considerate of the other guests and staff. The lower floors have offices. Ample parking available in front of the building. Autos, Uber and Ola cabs come right under the building and you can walk to the metro station - Bhikaji Cama on the Pink line in 15mins. Guest will have access to - Common Room - Terrace - Kitchen (Open for guest to cook their own food) - Gym is at the basement of the building which is chargeable @ INR 250 per use. Other things to note We have a Travel Desk that will create custom tailor made tours for our guest on request at the hostel. We will also be providing all sorts of free travel information to all our guest.
