Other things to note In compliance with the legality of the Generalitat de Catalunya, at the entrance of the apartment the guest must pay the Tourist Tax that will be paid to the Tax Agency. The fee is € 0.9 per person per night. If this is the first time you have come to Cadaqués, it is good to know that, inside the village, the circulation of vehicles is quite restricted and complicated. This situation, which at first seems to be an inconvenience, makes the village very quiet and makes it a pleasure to walk around it, both to bathe in the coves that exist on both sides of the bay and to enter the steep alleys of the old town that surrounds the Church. Our apartment has access to one of the few streets in the centre of the village which can be reached by car. Therefore, if you do, I advise you to park momentarily in front of the apartment and unload your luggage, then look for a parking space and forget about the car! Normally there is a parking place nearby but in high season it is usually more difficult and you will probably have to leave your car in one of the most distant public parking areas (camping and stream area). You will also find at the entrance of the village, 5 mi. from the apartment, a large paid car park.
