The space In the heart of the wonderful natural setting in Čilipi, the southernmost part of Croatia, Apartment Arkadia offers a holiday for those longing for peace. Our home was built a hundred years ago in the countryside located 10 minutes walking distance from the airport in Čilipi, 3 kilometres from the picturesque city of Cavtat, 20 kilometres from magnificent Dubrovnik and 1 kilometre from the sea (rocky beach for those who are familiar with this kind of scenery). Here morning comes with birds singing and crickets chirping. We wanted this pastoral idyll to be shared because everyone needs time to spend in harmony with nature. Our apartment is a self-catering accommodation perfect for families and their friends. Guest access We offer you: - Three double bedrooms (possibility to separate beds in one of them) with balcony and view of the gardens. One bedroom is provided with a satellite TV. Bedrooms don’t have air conditioning but are very pleasant for sleeping even in the heart of summer thanks to thick old stone walls. Just in case they are provided by ventilators. - Private bathrooms with every room have showers while one of them is equipped with a big bathtub. They have free toiletries. - Huge veranda/lounge- perfect for chilling inside. - Another big living room next to the kitchen features a big satellite TV and air conditioning. There is a big sofa that converts into double bed - A full kitchen provided with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, water kettle. - Washing machine and facilities for ironing - Everything you find in our garden you can use to make meals. Depending on the season you can enjoy a great variety of fruit (cherries, apples, pears, figs, strawberries) and vegetables (from potatoes, salads, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, to peppers and cucumbers). If you’d like, you can relax by gardening with us. - A big parking place in front of the house. - Terrace perfect for sunbathing among greenery and flowers. - Children’s playground can be improvised anywhere. The house is isolated from traffic so it is safe for children. - Free WiFi. The Neighborhood The apartment Arkadia in Čilipi is the ideal place to relax. It can be used as a base for excursions to the fascinating things you can find in the Konavle region such as biking, horse riding, safari driving, swimming etc. The property enjoys a quiet rural location where you will enjoy in complete peace. - The airport is less than a kilometar away. - The grocery store is at 500 m from the house. - An emergency service is on the airport - The pharmacy is in the city of Cavtat (3 km away, 10 minutes by car) - The bars and the restaurants are in the city of Cavtat or Dubrovnik (18km away) - Traditional restaurants are to be found in little villages all around the region of Konavle - Shopping: in Cavtat and Dubrovnik you will find a lot of souvenir shops where you can buy traditional products but don't expect to find high street brands like Zara, Mango, H&M... - designer boutiques: Maria Concept Store (Sv Dominika bb; (URL HIDDEN) close to Ploče Gate; Also worth checking out is Michal Negrinal- almost next-door to the Rector's Palace, - the open-air market (Gundulićeva Poljana; mornings only) in the old town, with stalls laden with seasonal fruit and vegetables plus locally produced cheeses and dried lavender.
