Small alpine hut in Simmental

The story of Heidi and the Alpöhi has always fascinated me. Now I have found a house that almost corresponds to the ideal. Here I enjoy the peace and quiet, and come to rest myself! I would like to make this possible for my guests. The space The over 200-year-old alpine hut offers its charm, away from civilization and yet somehow accessible. How did our ancestors live 150-200 years ago? Can you live without running water in the house? Without electricity? Chop wood for cooking and heating beforehand and then cheer? This is the place for you. The small alpine hut in the Simmental is located at the foot of the Albristhorn. It can accommodate 4 people in 2 rooms. 1 room 180 x 200 cm and one room 140 x 190 cm. In addition, it has a room height of just under 180 cm. That means tall people have to duck their heads. For cooking, there is a gas stove with 2 hobs or a wood stove in which you could also bake. The small kitchen is conveniently furnished. From dishes, glasses, cooking pots, it has everything you need to live. In the barn there is garden furniture, a barbecue, firewood as well as a washing facility and a compost/separate toilet. There is no running water in the house. It must be fetched from the well in front of the house. There is no electricity. Light is provided with candles and solar LED lamps. The solar panel charges a 12-volt battery. This means you can charge a mobile phone, but not charge power banks. The system is too weak and could break. Guest access The hut is for your own use. When the cows graze next to the hut, the farmer fences the house for safety. Other things to note The cabin is very simple, no luxury, no running water = no shower, no electricity. The cabin is very remote, so I highly recommend planning your arrival with your own car. I show the guest the way to the cabin and on the last day I come to the cabin inspection. I am NOT available as a taxi service. Dogs are NOT allowed! There is no exception!
