Over 2 floors: main floor has large kitchen with Smeg range oven. Sitting room - TV + Netflix access, family bathroom with large bath & rainfall shower. Upstairs: kingsize bedroom + en suite toilet. Lay-out works well for a large family or 2 couples. The space Porthia is unusually large for St Ives as it is a beautiful converted sail loft with high vaulted ceilings. It is light and airy and the sitting room has lots of space and a lovely view from a window seat down to the harbour. It's lovely to sit there and watch the view of the old cottages and the harbour, especially at night when the harbour lights are on. There is a large enclosed patio decked area with a table and chair and a bench, for the sole use of the property. On the first floor - with a view overlooking the rooftops - there is a kingsize bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a small sofabed and an en suite loo. On the main floor below, there is a twin bedroom with two single beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the sitting room. There is Wi-fi at the property and a smart TV with access to Netflix & Amazon Prime (for guests with accounts). In the kitchen there is a new Smeg range oven and a Panasonic combi oven with a microwave, convection oven and grill, useful for making quick dinners. Guest access The apartment is up a private path, tucked away, and is self-contained and on two floors. There is a very large super kingsize bedroom on the top floor with en suite toilet and lovely views over the rooftops of St Ives. It feels very private. Other things to note It is in a lovely spot, right in the centre of the beautiful old part of St Ives and close to a handy local grocer's that sells pastries, vegetables, newspapers and a great range of food products. It's also very close to restaurants and three great beaches. It is accessed via a private pathway, so you are in a great location but it is also very much your own space.
