The space Our 3 bedroom family holiday home with polished floorboards throughout has a true beach house feel and is a lazy 5 mins walk (460metres) to the family-friendly inlet beach. Split system Air Conditioner/heaters are installed in all bedrooms. There are also pedastal fans and cosy flame-look electric heaters, which can be moved to different rooms. There is a smart TV with access to several streaming services via the Wifi, and a DVD player. Our place sleeps 7: 1 Queen bed room w elec blankets; 1 Double bed room w elec blankets; children's bunkroom includes and extra single bed and a day bed. There is an undercover area with outdoor table and BBQ, and a deck. Quiet residential street only 1.1 km from centre of town. 4 km to patrolled surf beach - ideal for swimming, summer and winter beach walks and sightseeing. Screw Creek nature walk and bluff lookout are recommended. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from Inverloch pier within 10 mins walk of the house. Whale watching in winter months. Regular local markets. Kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and stove top, microwave, large refrigerator, cooking utensils, saucepans and ovenware, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Front bathroom includes shower, bath, basin and toilet. Rear bathroom includes shower, basin, toilet and blower heater. There is a third toilet located off the laundry/back entrance area. Washing line and deck area great for clothes drying and relaxing outdoors. The house is well insulated with three pedestal fans and frequent afternoon sea breezes for cooling. Air conditioner installed 1 December 2015. Gas and electric heaters are provided as well as electric blankets on double and queen beds. The house is ideal for two couples/families to stay together with 2 bedrooms at the front of the house, one with queen bed, the other with double bed, in addition to childrens bedroom at rear of the house. The kids would love their own large bedroom with a bunk-bed and 2 single beds at the back of the house with attached modern bathroom (shower, basin and toilet). BYO sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, and beach towels. Bathmats and handtowels provided. We supply doonas with covers, pillows and blankets. Sheets, pillowcases and towels can be supplied by prior arrangement at $25 per bed additional charge for your whole stay (please advise host at time of booking). Laundry with top loading washer and dryer , laundry sink and third toilet. Washing liquid and clothes pegs supplied. Clothes line in back garden. Porta-cot, and baby bath available in the house (bedroom cupboards). This is strictly a non-smoking residence - smoking is permitted outdoors only (please clean up after yourself). Cleaning is eco-friendly. The back yard would be suitable for a small or medium sized dog (may require a lead as only low fence across driveway). Pets are allowed outside only please (not inside the house). An additional charge of $30 per stay is required for pets. Please advise at time of booking whether you are bringing a pet. Bus service available from Melbourne to Inverloch. Enjoy the vibrant cafe culture of Inverloch, stunning scenery and local markets most weekends. Within easy 30 minute drive to beautiful Phillip Island. Enjoy local produce, food and wine and local fishing spots. A stop at Kilcunda for views, cafe and organic/local food shop is recommended. Other things to note Whale sitings June - November in the area. Shell Museum in town is well worth a visit. From tiny crabs to giant clam shells. Shells from Inverloch area and all over the world. Local Library, Information Centre and Art display Nearby RACV resort for lunch, dinner or coffee and stunning views of Anderson Inlet. Moo's cafe/restaurant at Meeniyan (half hour drive) not cheap but most interesting menu. Nice little town. Koonwarra Food store (20 mins drive) also well worth a visit. Local markets and local produce in the area (see information in house or at Information centre). Paddle boarding, kayaking and surfing facilities available from town businesses.
