Peaceful English farmhouse bedroom -

Lilly is the name of our lovely country themed bedroom with double brass bed, en-suite shower and w.c - Lilly looks out over the garden and on to the moorland beyond. Being on the second floor it is quite and peaceful, warm and cosy. Breakfast included as are towels and bedding, tea/coffee and biscuits in room or you to indulge, there is a T.V - only small but adequate and free wifi- The space Expect the unexpected when you turn the corner into our Courtyard. Bell Tower and peacocks and our 'Baskerville' stone hounds guarding the doorway! When you turn up Tor Royal Lane from Princetown Village and head up over the cattle grid, you will realise that you are going to stay 'on the moors' so do expect cattle, sheep and Dartmoor ponies in the road (and a few of the neighbours hens!). We are a farm and have working collies which may be out when you arrive, they are friendly 😊 Guest access You will have a key to the front door and one to your bedroom, you are free to walk in the gardens - The room for breakfast is part of the Royal suite of rooms, so you will have breakfast where Princes have eaten! During your stay We are here to make your stay better than you expected - We will welcome you in, show you to your room, leave you in peace but be around if you have any questions or problems, serve your breakfast and wave you goodbye. Other things to note Tor Royal is the nearerst you will get to 'Baskerville Hall', Arthur Conan Doyal basing his famous 'Hound of the Baskervilles' on Fox Tor Mire and the surrounding countryside - we are 9 miles from the market town of Tavistock, 1/2 hours drive to Plymouth depending on where in the city you want to go. We are ideally situated to stay and visit Cornwall or the lovely north and south beaches - that is if you can tear yourself away from the Dartmoor open countryside.
