In the heart of Tuscany, just north of Siena, lies the medieval mill, nestled between hills with olive groves and vineyards. A small ecosystem, located on the river Arbia, with a swimming spot, bamboo grove and enchanted corners. The space In the guest house in the old mill walls, visitors can expect 4 guest rooms (for 2-3 people each), which are rented individually. This is the ad for the "TURQUOISE" double room with extra bed for a possible additional person. The large shared kitchen is shared with other guests. Beautiful, old furniture and terracotta floors let you feel Tuscany down to the last detail. The group room, the large common kitchen with open fireplace and two bathrooms are at the guests' disposal. The old mill rooms downstairs - an enchanted place for a long festive table or a small theater stage...? Individual guests, families or groups (also well suited for retreats) are welcome! Guest access The mill is a small island where we try to maintain the balance between nature, animals and humans. Our guests share this interest. The mill site is located in a dead zone (...wonderful tranquility). A little up the mountain between the olive trees there is reception - or also pheasant calls, wild boar grunts and porcupine bristles. During your stay It's nice when a family atmosphere arises, where you can, for example, eat together, take a walk along/in the river or to the castle ruins. Or meet by the campfire and sing, dance and tell stories... If you want, you can also help, for example in the organic garden and similar. There is also the possibility for a longer stay (min. 1 month) to work for room and board. Other things to note The water system is based on well water. With a few simple steps, the bath stove is heated and the shower water is nice and warm. The organic seepage system requires biodegradable soaps and hygiene products. There is a solar system and thus pleasant low-voltage light in the rooms. Batteries for cell phones and cameras can be charged.
