This single level residence is located on a peninsula on the main chain of Portage Lakes. Directly across the lake from the State Park beach, this two bedroom, one bathroom, 1,250 square foot home was constructed in 2021 and contains all new appliances, wood laminate floors, all wood white cabinets, granite countertops, a large wood deck within feet of the water with your own dock slip. Two single person kayaks are provided. Located on the property is a marina and yacht club bar. The space Tired of hauling your boat in and out of the water? This is an ideal place for you to bring your own boat and launch it from the marina and park at your own dock slip during your stay. Water activities are only a part of what the area has to offer. We are conveniently located near the State Park and the Ohio & Erie canal towpath for hiking and biking. Our local parks contain tennis, pickleball and basketball courts. We are but a few miles from Turkeyfoot Golf Course, a public 27 hole course with many water views of Portage Lakes. The Tudor House in New Franklin hosts many events during the summer, like movie nights and music on the lawn. Guest access This rental is located on a three acre peninsula that is also home to a marina with over 100 seasonal boat dock rentals and a yacht club bar open seven days a week. There is a lot of vehicular traffic and parking on weekends. On some weekends there may be a band and a food truck on the premises. Guests of rental will have two designated parking spots but are free to park at any open space. There is a lower level garage that is not a part of the rental. Other things to note This is a busy location in the summer. No parties or more than 4 guests are permitted on the premises without owner’s consent
