Wind in the Willows - Cottage Suite

Charming 1890's country home nestled in quaint rural village in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains. We are 8 minutes from the beautiful Blenheim Hill Farm; 14 minutes from Minekill State Park; 18 minutes from New York Safety Track; one hour away from Albany and Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame); and 3.5 hours from NYC. Antiques shops close by. The Cottage Suite makes a comfy getaway and place to relax. The space The Cottage Suite was newly renovated in 2017 with a hint of a cottage experience. Our extended family reunions have always been at 'the cottage' in Canada - so our decor resembles those fond 'cottage-type' memories. This suite has 2 separate bedrooms, both with a queen size bed and smart or roku tv. One of the bedrooms includes the fridge; coffee maker; a bar sink and the newly tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. Guest access Enjoy taking it easy on the front porch or gardens with picnic table. Stroll down the backyard path to the beaver pond where pond meets our quiet brook. During your stay Letting us know of your time arrival allows us to plan to be there to greet you. Otherwise we will communicate all the directions you need to make it easy to find your space at our place. We will be just a 'text' away if you have any questions or need help. Other things to note We highly recommend 'The Breakfast Club' (open everyday) for a fantastic breakfast experience just a short stroll down the road. Buck Hill Farm serves a lovely breakfast as well (weekends only) just a 2 minute drive down the road. Many choices for dinners include Jefferson's own Heartbreak Hotel, Mama Maria's Pizzeria & Restaurant, Vasta's Bistro and Pizzeria, and Ming Moon just 10 or so minutes from here.
