Enjoy over three acres of privacy, mostly forested and fronting over 200 feet of waterfront on one of Three Mile Lake's picturesque bays. Enjoy views from the cottage or relax with morning coffee on our 40 ft. dock. While you're enjoying the dock, the kids will love the extra large yard and gentle entry beach Fun for families, or couples get-aways! The space Our Cottage offers you all the modern comforts of cottaging including a fully screened in Muskoka room. You have your choice of 2 large decks to enjoy one in front and one out back so you can follow the sun! There is also a covered deck with lake and forest views for you to enjoy your outside dining rain or shine! The Master bedroom has a queen size bed and sliding doors to walk out to a private deck overlooking the lake. There are two other good sized bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The bedrooms have large windows and ceiling fans to keep you cool and comfortable. In our sunken living room you can snuggle up to a wood burning Napoleon stove. Of course if it's really chilly, we are fully winterized with a forced air heating system that will keep you nice and toasty. Fully equipped kitchen includes Dishwasher, Microwave, Blender, Coffee Grinder, Coffee maker, Rice cooker,Slow Cooker, 4 slice toaster, Charcuterie board. You'll find some great organic seasonings, oils, vinegars, high end cookware, Knives and just about anything you might need for preparing great meals. We have a Napoleon propane barbecue for delicious grilling! You can enjoy our finished family room on the lower level that offers you a television equipped with Bell Satellite for your favourite channels. DVD player is also offered as are games, books, and some kids toys. We have paddle boats for you to enjoy and of course swimming. If you love to fish, you'll find Pickerel and Bass off the end of our dock. Or, bring your boat and try your luck out on the lake! Evenings can be enjoyed around the large fire-pit set back from the lake while taking in the beauty of the night stars. For guests concerned about cell phone reception, we use Bell and have no issues. We also have a working "landline" which you are welcome to use. We're only 10 minutes from the Village of Burks Falls and 25 minutes from downtown Huntsville where you'll find world class Golfing (Deerhurst Resort), Ski slopes (Hidden Valley) and more! Nearby, Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks offer awesome year round activities. Snowmobile trails and ATV trails are close by for you to enjoy. Guest access You are welcome to use our dock for your own boat, there is a public boat launch on the lake. Our cottage sits on over 3. acres of land, great for your young explorers to roam about and you can still watch them from the deck! Other things to note Other than pillows and blankets, bedding and towels are not provided. Water safety is very seriously regarded and life jackets must be worn in any water craft used, including paddle boats, kayaks, canoes etc. If you plan to go out on the water please be sure to bring your life jackets and any other required equipment as set out by federal/provincial law. Occupancy limits are strictly enforced should any unauthorized visitors show up either daytime or overnight, you will be asked to vacate the cottage immediately. All guests must be listed at the time of booking. If space allows we can amend your booking prior to your arrival. Pets, some dogs ( sorry no cats or other pets) are considered but will only be allowed with written assurance from guests that proper clean up of cottage and yard will be maintained by guest. Including disposal of pet waste. Note a pet fee. will be applied to your booking.
