Cozy cabin with beautiful lake views

At this quiet accommodation you can enjoy views of the fjord from the living room, the terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. It's only 5 minutes down to the lake. Sauda is only 15 minutes away by car. Here you will find most things, including a swimming pool. Many opportunities for great mountain trips and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events. The space The property is undisturbed and you have a unique view of the fjord. Here you are on your own and can enjoy privacy completely. The cabin is located in a remote cabin area with other cabins nearby, but no private homes. There is also a good distance to the main road and no noise from traffic. There are beds for six people, but no more than four adults are recommended over many days, as the cabin is not very big. The cabin has a terrace with outdoor furniture that can be used during the summer. To get to the lake, follow the path down from the cabin. You have to go down/up some altitude and for some the trail can be challenging. For boat rental and hot tub, see other information. NB! WINTER: If there is snow, it may be necessary to park up by the main road. You will go down a long, steep hill that is difficult to get up again when it is slippery. Here you must have a four-wheel drive. OTHERWISE: Motorhome or van must be parked up by the main road. Then it's a ten minute walk. With a regular passenger car you park right next to the cabin. You have to go down some stairs to get to the cabin. It is easy to bring things from the car to the cabin and back again. Guest access You will have access to the entire cabin and outdoor area belonging to the cabin. This includes outdoor furniture and outdoor fireplace. You also have free access to the lake. Please note that some of the amenities in the cabin are extra services and must be booked separately, such as hot tub and boat. See other information below. The cabin is suitable for: - Holiday guests who want to stay in quiet surroundings with a lovely view. - Holiday guests who want to explore the nature in the area, summer and winter. - Holiday guests who want to have the place as a base to explore the surrounding region. - Holiday guests who in small groups like to be at sea. - Holiday guests who are in transit and need accommodation for a shorter period. -Weekend guests who want to relax for a weekend. - Weekend guests who want to explore the nature in the area, summer and winter. -Weekend guests planning a ski weekend in Sauda. The cabin is not suitable for: - Guests who will use the place as a base for a party. It is emphasized that intoxicated persons are NOT welcome in the cabin. Please respect this, and find another place if this is part of the plan. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE! ALL ADDITIONAL SERVICES MENTIONED BELOW ARE NOT INCLUDED WHEN BOOKING THE CABIN AND MUST BE AGREED WITH THE CABIN OWNER NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK BEFORE ARRIVAL. Things will then be made ready for you in advance. BED LINEN AND TOWELS: NOK 100 per person (or bring your own). Beds are NOT to be used without sheets. Bed linen must be booked in advance. FIREWOOD: The cabin is heated by a wood stove during winter. So you must have firewood at this time of year. If you want more than 18-20 degrees in the cabin, the wood stove must be used, not electric heating, regardless of the season. Guests choose whether they bring their own wood or buy wood and wood briquettes privately at the cabin. This should be booked in advance, but it is also possible to ask during the stay. The wood will be a bit more expensive than in the store. Always contact the cabin owner to arrange the purchase of firewood. Price: NOK 100 for 30 liters. WOOD-FIRED HOT TUB: NOK 200. We prepare the hot tub and clean it afterwards. Sometimes it is filled with cold water before arrival, but most often you will have to fill it yourself. This takes 50 minutes. Please note that you need firewood for heating, this is not included (see point above on the purchase of firewood). Note that several hours must be calculated for heating the hot tub at the first heating and thus a certain amount of firewood. The next day significantly less. Use of the hot tub is at your own risk. Any broken parts on the hot tub are consistently ordered new at the tenant's expense. This is based on previous experience. Use of the hot tub must be agreed upon with the cabin owner no later than one week before arrival. BATHTUB: Only for use during summer time without heating. Included in the price. PETS: A one-time fee of NOK 200 applies for one pet. Added to the booking. KAYAK: We have a two-man kayak down by the lake that can be rented between April 1 and October 31. CHARGING OF ELECTRIC CARS must NOT take place with the use of electricity from the cabin.
