Stam Family Lodge on Tin Mill Hill is close to many exciting places to visit and is near an historic mining and milling site. With National Forest on two sides of the property, hiking and exploring opportunities abound. The space You have your own, newly constructed, private walkout basement space with three bedrooms, full bath, kitchenette and living area with an additional queen-size futon sofa for a total of 1200 square feet of space. A private entrance and circle drive with parking allow you easy and personal access. Well water is tested per state requirements and is softened. Guest access You have total access to the private walk-out level. Other things to note The lodge is at over 5,100 ft. above sea level. Don’t be surprised if you notice the altitude. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Also, you never know what the weather may bring as it may be in the 80s or even low 90s, but then it can drop down to the 50s or even 40s. So, bring shorts and sweatshirts. The lower level does have AC in the large common room, and there are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. However, it seldom gets above 72° even on our hottest day.
