Countryside stay with private hot tub & breakfast

1 King & 1 large twin bedroom on the ground floor of our home - a countryside cottage that offers a relaxing stay with hot tub, garden with BBQ, private bathroom and dining room. A stone's throw from stunning East Lothian beaches, rolling hills and the capital city of Edinburgh. Conveniently located in the small village of Macmerry near A1 with quick and easy access to Edinburgh while enjoying a peaceful rural setting. The space A new solid hot tub and pergola have been installed in our back garden! It seats 5 people on 2 loungers and 3 seats, with powerful jets, built-in drinks stands and multi-coloured lighting. The atmosphere after dark when the stars are out is something special - we hope you get to experience it! As we have received the same enquiry on multiple occasions, please note, this is not an entire property rental. We live and work in the house but the areas feel quite separated and we will leave you to have your own privacy. You will have two private rooms and a full private bathroom on the ground floor of our home, with access to the dining room, and front and back gardens shared with us. We ask that we keep our living room area and upstairs private. Access to the dining room is through the kitchen. You can access our kitchen, use the microwave, fridge, sink, but ask that you don't cook food in the kitchen. There is a mini fridge in one of the rooms for storing anything you want to keep cool. In the garden we have a barrel charcoal BBQ, fire pit and food grill tripod that can sit over the fire pit - all of which you can use. Please let us know if you plan to use any of these items and we can run through where and how to set them up. We have a sweet tabby cat that prefers to stay away from people she doesn't know, so shouldn't bother you during your stay. Guest access Private driveway or on-street parking. During your stay If you'd like, we would love to chat as we are two friendly people who like to socialise, but are also happy to leave you to yourselves if you prefer. Other things to note Please note, there is on-going construction of new houses in the field behind the house. Access to the property is not affected by the construction, but there would be some noise during weekday working hours (7:30-5pm). Some days are fairly OK while others might be more noisy. Unfortunately, it is out of our control what they might be doing during your stay. We are intending to place a new 6ft fence in the near future.
