Description
Beautiful family run campsite with 6 other pitches nestled in a picturesque valley near the rural village of Brechfa. Local community shop and family run local pub within walking distance. The Brechfa Forest is a hidden gem located only 30 minutes from the M4 motorway. World class mountain biking trails, endless forest walks and the magestic river Cothi running near by. Perfect for those seeking nature, beautiful scenery and escaping the crowds. The space The "Whale" as it is affectionately known, is a classic 1989 7.5 tonne lorry lovingly converted into a live in vehicle. Lots of pitch pine and wood cladding give ger a lovely cosy cottage feel. The camper has a full solar setup and runs tottaly off grid. This includes a 35 litre compressor fridge, hot air blown heating, 12v lights throughout, a total of 12 usb port around the van, stereo, cold running water and a 12v mini projector. The kitchen has a filtered water hand pumped tap, gas oven, grill and 3 burner hob. The kitchen is setup for 3 with plenty of pots and pans. The sleeping consists of a double bed at the back up high and a cwtched away single bed low down. The beds are all quite compact in length, approximately 5.10 to be fully layed out. Taller people can sleep at an angle accross the double with no issues. Ideally the van would sleep a couple with a child. The bathroom houses the compost toilet and shower which are not in use. The van has access to an onsite bathroom approximately 10m away]. This is a shared bathroom but the 5 other campervan pitches almost always have private facilities. This bathroom is cleaned regularly. Bedding, toilet roll, kitchen roll, tea towels, cleaning utensils provided but no towels provided. Guest access Plenty of free onsite parking on the farm
