The steps opposite the house take you onto the high street in seconds swiftly accessing the independent shops, restaurants, galleries and local ferries to explore St Mawes, the picturesque creeks and beautiful sandy beaches. With sea views from every floor, Number 3 makes a perfect year round retreat with the added bonus of guaranteed parking in the integral garage and only a 10 mins walk from the train station. The space Step into Number Three and follow the clean white walls and staircase into the main open plan living space. A lovely space for holiday togetherness where you can cook, eat and relax in harmony. The room boasts beautiful seaviews across the harbour and towards Flushing beach. A sliding glazed door opens to a small balcony overlooking the harbour. Upholstered armchairs and large sofa are perfect for relaxing and watching the boats on the water or snuggling up and watching a film on the 48" Panasonic TV with Netflix, Roku and Apple TV with a Bose Bluetooth speaker for streaming your favourite music. At the other end of the open plan room is a fully equipped shaker style kitchen for nights when you just want to cook at home. All mod cons include Dualit kettle and toaster, Kitchen Aid mixer and blender, integrated oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and induction hob. A large farmhouse table and chairs are the focal point for this social space. There is a separate Utility with washing machine, dryer, sink and plenty of storage for coats and shoes. Upstairs, the house sleeps 4 in two generously sized bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is located at the front and boasts sea views which you can gaze at from a sumptuous, oversized window seat with soft cushions. A lovely spot to unwind after a day out exploring. A gorgeous antique French headboard frames the super-king bed which has the benefit of a zip and link meaning it can be used either as a super-king or two singles beds. Plenty of storage space with a wardrobe and drawers. Bedroom 2 is located at the back of the house and has a king size bed. This room has a vaulted ceiling offering plenty of light. It has direct access to a small outside seating area with bistro style table and chairs exclusively for Bedroom 2 guests only. Both bedrooms share a family bathroom on the same floor. The recently refurbished bathroom offers a practical yet fresh feel with mains power Bristan shower over the bath to wake you up in the morning. A heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy combined with ample storage space for toiletries. Guest access Self check-in is set up via a guest lockbox to access Number 3 so no contact is required. The lockbox includes a key to the front door and garage fob to enable access to the garage for parking. The garage is suitable for a small to medium size car e.g. VW Golf. There is no restriction on the length of the car. Measurements of the garage:- Garage Width: 7 feet (213 cm) Garage Height: 6 feet 4 inches (193 cm) If you would prefer not to use the garage. You can park on New Street itself from 17:00 until 10:00 with no restrictions. However after 10:00 you are limited to 1 hour only through out the day. There is a pay and display at Wells Lane Pay & Display Car park which is 2 mins walk away. Dell Car Park 10 mins walk away is long stay parking (Weekly) Other transport links:- Train - Falmouth Town Train Station is 10 mins walk which links with Truro main line from Paddington to Penzance via the Maritime Line Bus Station is 7 mins walk Newquay Airport is 45 mins drive Electric bikes are available for hire on The Moor and Event Square in Falmouth Ferries to St Mawes, Flushing, Helford, Mylor are available from Falmouth Harbour as well as extensive selection of Boat Tours, Sea Fishing, Self Hire boats. More details are available in my Info for Guests. Other things to note Only suitable for guests accepting of a central town and harbour location. Beaches are 15 mins easy walk from the property. Historic King Charles Church is opposite the house and the bells chime loudly on the hour, every hour from 8:00 until 22:00. The house has fairly steep staircases painted white which are unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility restrictions, small children under the age of 5 and dogs. CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION The property is cleaned professionally to a high standard in between each booking, so you can book with confidence that we are doing everything possible to make sure the property is sanitised.
