Bron Haul - Cosy cottage in the heart of Snowdonia

A luxury 2 bedroom 19th century cottage, newly refurbished to create a perfect rural retreat. With a log burner in the living room, a king sized bed and bunk beds it is an ideal place for a couple or family to unwind after a day in the mountains. Well behaved pets are also welcome. Tucked away in the traditional Welsh village of Penmachno, surrounded by hills and forests, it's one of the hidden gems of Snowdonia National Park. Centrally located, it is a terrific location from which to explore. The space The living space: The cosy sitting room with a wood burning fire is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring all Snowdonia has to offer. A smart TV and a cupboard filled with a large selection of games will keep everyone entertained in the evenings. The kitchen: The traditional shaker kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for your stay. There's an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine, belfast sink and all the cooking equipment you need. The bedrooms: The main bedroom has an extremely comfy memory foam king sized bed, with Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down duvets and pillows, it's ideal for lazy mornings enjoying breakfast in bed or early nights ready for an active day ahead! The small room contains two floating bunk beds, so no being woken up by another sleeper moving around in the bed during the night. Again with Egyptian cotton bedding and individual reading lights they're a great place to cosy up for nights in with a good book. The bathroom: The shower room has an electric shower and heated towel rails to keep towels fluffy and warm. The outside space: To the rear of the property lies plenty of outdoor space with a dining table and 6 chairs, perfect for alfresco dining, and two large outdoor sofas for lounging around in the afternoon sun. Once the sun goes down, switch on the festoon lights to illuminate the garden and get ready to light the out door firepit. The location: Penmachno village is in the heart of Snowdonia National Park making it an ideal location to explore all the area has to offer. The village has a pub and a local shop, just a minutes walk from the cottage. There are amazing walks and mountain bike trails from the door step, and just a short drive to many other attractions. There is public transport from the village with a bus service connecting to other parts of Snowdonia. The nearest train station is in Betws y Coed , just 4 miles away. Guest access There is on street parking in front of the house. Other things to note Phone signal is extremely limited in the village. The cottage has wifi to allow you to keep in touch and up to date with the rest of the world should you wish!
