Nestled a 10-minute walk from Amiens train station, on a 3,000 m² plot with 2 separate accommodations, you will have complete privacy as the areas are separated. Access is via a small bridge typical of the Hortillonnages, with steps on each side. (The only access to the property.) You can park in front of the plot. The plot also includes a large private pond where you can enjoy the fauna and flora throughout your stay. Access to Parc Saint-Pierre and the starting point for boat rides are 5 minutes away. The chalet offers you all the comforts in the heart of nature! The main chalet is a single room and includes: - 1 bed for 2 people (160 x 200 cm), - A fully equipped and fitted kitchen: Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, multifunction pyrolytic oven, 2-burner gas hob*, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Basic essentials are available for your use: condiments, Senseo pods, sugar, dishwashing liquid, sponge, dish brush, garbage bag, dishwasher tablet, paper towels... A table and two chairs. - For heating or air-conditioning An air-to-air heat pump that can be switched* to heating or air conditioning depending on the season, and a heated towel rail. - Stay connected: A flat-screen TV that you can use with the TV remote control WiFi internet access that you can use for free - For washing - WC This is an annex to the chalet, located 10 meters away (connected by a wooden walkway with automatic lighting), which includes the shower room and toilet with a shower cubicle, 1 sink and 1 toilet. Essentials are available: toilet paper, hand soap, hand towel, bath mat and hairdryer. - Outside A luggage trolley is available on the terrace. A barbecue grill and utensils are also available on your terrace. Also, 2 deckchairs, 2 garden chairs and 2 small tables. You can fish as long as you have your license in case of an inspection, because even though the plot is private, the pond is still shared. Regarding your arrival: The bed is made and the house is cleaned. Bath towels are provided, as well as table linens and some basic essentials. Guest access Access to the property is only via the access bridge, a typical Hortillonnages bridge crossing a small stream. It has steps on both sides, and the access is fairly steep. This information is also provided to you in all messages exchanged when you book. The property and the terrace are entirely private for you. Other things to note The accommodation is unusual: Access to the property is via a footbridge with steps on each side (typical of the Hortillonnages, since everything is surrounded by water). After this bridge, a path leads you to the chalet, which will be indicated by a sign, after 30 meters. The two cottages have all the comforts, but they are still small spaces with limited headroom.
