Brodarica is a small and quiet place, perfect for escaping everyday stress, yet close enough to the city of Sibenik and numerous attractions if you want to explore the area. Other things to note 🔹 Šibenik – a gem of the Adriatic with a rich and modern spirit Šibenik is one of the oldest originally Croatian cities on the Adriatic, first mentioned in 1066. Located at the mouth of the Krka River, it flows into the sea, it offers an incredible combination of history, nature, culture and entertainment. 🏛 Historical and cultural landmarks St. James's Cathedral – under the protection of UNESCO, a unique masterpiece of Gothic and Renaissance, built exclusively of stone. St. Michael's Fortress – with a beautiful view of the city and the sea, today it is also a concert stage under the open sky. Fortresses Barone, St. John and St. Nikola - renovated fortresses offer historical and educational content, multimedia and fantastic panoramas. The old town of Šibenik - a walk through the stone streets, hidden squares and traditional Dalmatian houses. 🌿 Natural beauty Krka National Park - only 20 minutes drive from the city, famous for its travertine waterfalls and swimming in nature. Kornati National Park - an archipelago of over 80 islands and islets, a paradise for boaters, divers and lovers of untouched nature. Botanical garden of medicinal herbs at the monastery of St. Louvre – a hidden garden in the heart of the city. 🍽 Gastronomy and wine Numerous taverns and restaurants offer local specialties - Dalmatian prosciutto, Pag cheese, lamb, fish on skewers, fresh shellfish from the Šibenik bay, with wines from the surrounding vineyards (especially the Babić and Debit varieties).
