The space In our airy, 2-bedroom apartment, we have a second bedroom to offer up to friends, visitors, and even locals who may need it! We will keep you comfortable with blankets, a pillow and towel - plus tea, coffee and hot cereal in the morning. If you need anything, please let us know! We're here to help. Guests are welcome to use the couch, TV, wifi, microwave, range, hot water kettle, fridge, and modestly stocked kitchen (with so much great street food and restaurants surrounding us, we've got the kitchen basics covered). The living room has its own heater above the couch, so climate control is in your hands. Our building also has a washer and dryer, which we can use (air drying available, too). Motorbike and bicycle parking is available on the ground floor (locked at night). We will supply a set of keys so you are welcome to set your own schedule. As friendly people, we can interact a little, a lot, or whatever makes you most comfortable. While we do keep a busy schedule, we can certainly sit down to chat, offer sightseeing suggestions, or a great place to grab some pho ba (chicken noodle soup) for breakfast (it's great - trust me!). Of course, we understand if you're an independent traveler and just have your own program. We aim to please - just let us know. Our 4-story apartment building is located down an alley, so it's a bit quieter. Our neighborhood is in the Tay Ho district which is about 10-15 minutes drive from the Old Quarter. Our neighborhoods are Vietnamese locals, expats, visitors, and a few loud chickens! Within 5 minutes walk, there are a number of small shops for snacks, drinks, and a few basics, a coffee shop, massage, restaurants, and a great little place for pho (soup with beef or chicken). Motorbike taxis are always available. We have a motorbike, too - and may be able to give you a ride into town. Let us know what your plans are and we'll get it worked out. Other things to note Please note that I think that check out from my place to be 12:00pm or earlier is a very nice late check out time. As so that I can plan on the cleaner to come in and also plan for any other guests to come in. If you want to request to have a late check out you need to inform me in writing before your check out date so that I can plan ahead for that occasion in case I am away during that time. Thanks
