Surf City Hostel opened in 1996 in Hermosa Beach, California, and is located about 20 minutes' drive south of LAX Airport in one of the best areas of Los Angeles. Popular with guests include our location on the beach, the bars, nightclubs, restaurants within walking distance, supermarkets, and much more. And we are right in front of the beach! Be aware of noise since we are above a bar! We don't accept people living within 50 miles radius of Hermosa Beach, CA. We will ask for physical ID's The space Travelers around the world visit our hostel often. Located just a few feet front he Ocean. Other things to note Simple Breakfast is included and it is served 7AM-9AM everyday. Please be aware that ITH Los Angeles Beach Hostel is located in the entertainment district of Pier Plaza and is subject to higher than normal music levels from surrounding bar & restaurant venues...particularly Thursday - Saturday nights. All guests must be over 18 years old to stay. All guest must reside at least 50 miles from Hermosa Beach to stay. You must have an ID outside of Los Angeles County.
