Unit is equipped with a full kitchen, has fast and strong wifi , modern TV with streaming applications, separate hot water tank, private entrance and a small patio. Easy street parking. Enter our gated property and stairs opposite the gates will take you to the separate entrance of this lovely 450 square foot studio apartment. Be sure you are comfortable descending and climbing stairs (see pictures). This very quiet studio is adjacent to a forest ravine and has a king size bed (really king) and all amenities except washer and dryer. Full kitchen including microwave, oven and dishwasher. Full bath. Reliable high speed internet. Property outside the apartment is monitored by security cameras. New interior furnishings all in splendid condition. Spacious storage closet for extended stays. Self check in and check out. Access to apartment is drop off and pick. Abundant street parking is available 150 feet from the studio up the private driveway. There are 15 stairs and two landings leading to the small patio and entrance. Property is located mid-Mercer Island which is flat for walking and offers easy access to the main road and to the freeways. I am available for questions by phone or text and will respond promptly. This property is self check in/check out, however we are always happy to meet our guests and answer questions. Mercer Island is located in the middle of Lake Washington between Seattle and Bellevue and connected via two sets of bridges with very fast and easy access to both areas. In 15 minutes drive to the East you will find Bellevue, and a bit further Kirkland, Redmond, Issaquah etc. 45 minutes drive up i-90 will take you to Snoqualmie Pass where we love to downhill ski during our winters. 15 minutes drive to the West will take you to the heart of Seattle downtown. Mercer Island is a pretty, green and a very safe small community with local shops, restaurants and parks. Our house is located mid-island. It is a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the library (7 min), high school (10 min) and Island Crest Elementary school (7 min). There is a pretty (about one mile long) walk around Ellis Pond and neighboring streets. There are also longer and more vigorous trails nearby. Not to mention numerous gorgeous hikes in a greater Seattle Area. There are a few parks and public beaches around the island (great for swimming and water activities during the summer). We are getting around by car, however my kids used to take Metro buses and were happy with this system. If you would like an assistance in finding a car to rent (I experienced some difficulties while traveling this year), please do not hesitate to ask. I can always post your request on local media site. There also Uber and Lyft, and rides are plentiful. It is easy to get to Bellevue and to Downtown Seattle. If you need a ride from/to the airport (or cruise ship) - please let me know. This is our home and we take pride in it and in maintaining our property. The studio is private for you and we ask that you respect the privacy of our gardens, yard and home. Our property is secured with a monitored alarm system and there are multiple security cameras on the property for your and our safety. There are no cameras inside the studio unit. We have no children or animals.
