The two BR/two bathroom nestled on top of a river gorge with jungle views is only a 10 minute walk to the best restaurants in Ubud and a 15 minute walk to the Royal Palace of Ubud and the famous Ubud tourist market in the very center of Ubud. This beautiful comfortable villa is ideal for a couple on holiday, a family or singles on retreat. Conveniently located to great shopping, fabulous restaurants, spas, yoga classes, and cultural performances, With jungle views in an enclosed tropical garden and next to a shared saltwater pool, the villa is a comfortable and cozy exotic home away from home. For a different type of holiday away from the big hotels, in a beautiful Balinese village of painters and rice farmers, stay in your own home with a complete kitchen and friendly Balinese staff to take care of you. Take walks through the open fields and village along the cement path down to the main road in town only 15 minutes away. We can also help arrange additional specialty guided tours with a driver to visit the local healers and spiritual teachers. The villa is also very close to all types of yoga classes and retreats, Tai Chi, Chi Kung classes and/or Ubud Fitness Gym, as well as some incredible spa experiences. We can even arrange for in house massages by some of the best massage therapists in Ubud, as well as hair treatments, foot reflexology, manicures, pedicures, and facials. Famous Iman Spa is located just a 2 minute walk up the road. Our staff: Made and Wayan, the house helpers and cleaners, and Made the gardener, will help make your holiday special and relaxing. The house helpers will clean the house, make the beds, and make your holiday comfortable and efficient. Many of the local restaurants have home delivery if you are too tired/lazy to go out for a meal. Or Wayan will shop for you at the organic vegetable market and local supermarket to supply the house with your requested foods and drink. We will also be happy to give you any tips on where to have the best experience for you to tour the island, go shopping, visit the spas, local dances, visit the temples, etc. etc. There is also WIFI if you feel you must be connected to the outside world. This lovely 2 story home away from home, which is priced for 2 people , can also be used by up to 4 people. There is an added cost of US$10 per each extra person per night. The villa has 2 AC bedrooms with overhead fans. Each bedroom has a lovely verandah perched over the river gorge and tranquil jungle views. The master ensuite bedroom upstairs with a 1/2 bath, has a queen size 4 poster carved teak bed with mosquito net. There is also a sofa for reading and lounging. Off of the bedroom there is an outdoor verandah which has a small sofa, 2 chairs and coffee table for enjoying the jungle view, and a space for 2 for yoga and meditation. The downstairs bedroom with 2 single beds which can also be a lounge room with a flatscreen TV/DVD player, with an office desk, or hang out room. We can supply a choice of DVDs and books to relax and enjoy after a busy day of Bali site seeing. There is a large Bali style outdoor garden bathroom with a shower open to the sky and bathtub/shower inside, if there is rain. The entrance door, kitchen and dining area with a round antique pedestal teak table with comfortable seating for 4. There is an antique wedding chest lending special ambience to the room with a view to the garden. A fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and a 4 burner stove with oven. The staff is available to cook a delicious breakfast for an added price of rp75,000 per person per day. Or, you can prepare your own breakfast before heading out to Ubud for a day of site seeing or shopping. We can organize a driver to pick you up from the airport, Canggu, Kuta or Seminyak, and bring you directly to the villa for Rp400,000, paid directly him. Tell us your time of arrival, flight details and description and we will arrange for you. The driver is also available for day trips around the island and those prices will be adjusted with the driver accordingly. We recommend, if possible, to get What's app on your phone so we can connect you to the villa manager and driver directly. Guest access We live near by and are happy to help with any travel/site seeing arrangements and/or advice. Wayan or Made are also available to help with ordering food, taxi, motorbike, bicycle, etc. etc. The staff can also do some light food shopping for you, if required at an extra cost. We have plenty of experience about special places to see, best restaurants and how to get around, etc. Other things to note We are required to report each guest to the police and our staff will require you to give them your passport for photocopying when you arrive. All additional fees or payment is required upon arrival at the villa. Please note: The house is situated in the jungle and will have the occasional frog, cik cak, gecko, or mosquito. They are all harmless, but we are happy to control them upon your request.
