The "John Muir Cabin" is one of four cabins on the property of Inspirations at Big Bear Lake. The property is convenient o Big Bear Village & resturants and both ski resorts and only a couple blocks from Meadows Park and the lake. Each cabin, except the "In to the Woods" cabin(see cabin description)has one bedroom and bath with living room and small kitchenette. Also, each cabin has Satellite TV and WiFi. Note: Mountain WiFi is not as consistent as Big City WiFi. The cabins now have 32" flat screen TV's and DVD players Inspirations has been created as a place for guests to come to enjoy and refresh in the beautiful Southern California mountains. There is also a main house and project rooms for groups. Each cabin (and room in the main house) is decorated around a theme that Lorraine, the Inn Keeper, thinks inspire people. The yard is a fun and peaceful place to read or just sit and relax. Have established the designation of being a Hummingbbird and buttlerfly habitat. There is lots to do in Big Bear in every season. Clean air and friendly people make Big Bear Lake the best mountain vacation spot in Southern California. So come on up and enjoy. Please note: There is a two night minimum stay on three day and holiday weekends. Christmas Holiday season, Dec. 15-Jan. 7 has a three night minimum. Two night minimum during spring break. Check in time is 2pm and check out time is 11am. Parking info: There is parking for ONE regular sized car. If you have an over sized vehicle, you will need to contact Lorraine. Winter Snow Policy: Consideration will be given to re-booking your stay if snow fall closes two of the three roads into Big Bear the day of your arrival.
