Luxurious, self-contained guest suite on the ground floor of a modern, architecturally-designed townhouse in Central Christchurch. Park onsite – walk everywhere. There is an electric vehicle charging station next door. The green spaces of Cranmer Square and Hagley Park, including Hagley Golf Course, are mere minutes away. Visitor attractions, hospitality venues and convention facilities are all within a kilometre. This accommodation is not suitable for children or pets. The space This private, quiet, spacious guest suite features a queen-sized bed, kitchenette (not a full kitchen), comfortable couch, ensuite bathroom, and a table suitable for dining or working at. Wifi and a smart TV are provided. The large, north-facing room opens onto a courtyard with outdoor dining table and access to the shared swimming pool. The pool is heated over summer. Guest-controlled in-room heating over winter keeps the room cosy. Front door access is shared with the hosts. Hosts typically meet guests in person to brief them on access and on-site parking. Guest access The hosts typically meet guests in person to hand over the key and brief them on security. The guest suite is on the ground floor through a shared front door. The suite opens onto a patio and shared swimming pool which is heated from November to March. Guests may use the shared laundry. Free parking is available in the front yard, accessible with electronic gate key. During your stay Mandy and/or Grant will warmly welcome guests in person. Due to Covid-19 public health precautions, we prefer to keep our distance and might not volunteer to shake hands. We are happy to help guests with any problem. There is an in-room compendium with information on such things as wi-fi access, security, major attractions and hospitality venues in the area, and emergency contacts. Our phone numbers are also in the compendium. There is an intercom which quests can use to speak with us. Other things to note The house is in the CBD. The easiest way to reach hospitality venues, parks and central city attractions is to walk. Lime and Neon electric scooters and bikes are available for public hire in the CBD with many typically parked over the road in Cranmer Square. The accommodation is a block away from the nearest tram stop.
