The Burnham Room
The Burnham Room is an 1800’s King Room with a private bath located on the second floor of The Inn. This room is our most spacious, & has recently been updated in a slightly modernized tone! The room was looking a little old & needed a face lift. Now, it is furnished with some modern farmhouse furniture but still has it’s old house charm! We have added small antique touches to bring some of our historic dairy farm to you. Cozy up to a nice book while gazing out the windows at The Machias River! The space Our property is large, open, and sits right on The Sunrise Trail & Machias River! We are conveniently located almost in the heart of Machias and within walking distance to some of our restaurants and shops! Though we are so close, at The Inn you’ll feel miles away! A peaceful spot perfect for a relaxing trip. Our rooms all have private outdoor entrances and private baths. They all have their own old farmhouse charm. Most importantly, we are CLEAN. After our rooms are cleaned, they are also inspected! Contact us to learn more about our cleaning process. Guest access The Burnham Room is located on a shared balcony which all guests are welcome to enjoy! There is an outdoor propane fireplace/sitting area, along tables/chairs and a grill that all of our guests have access to! (Outdoor amenities may be seasonal) All guests have direct access to The Downeast Sunrise Trail. Rent an ATV directly from hosts Ryle and I to explore the trails as well! Other things to note While we are an Inn, we are not a Bed & Breakfast and do not serve breakfast or coffee. Every room has its own mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig (along with coffee and extras). We also leave a tray of goodies for your enjoyment!
