Guests have access to the house as listed and inside/outside of the property. The enclosed outside compound area includes patio shading, the jacuzzi, pool, outside lounge furniture, rock stream garden and fire globe. Access to over 2 acres (also fenced) of surrounding mountain views on the wild desert land which has our special Joshua Tree, Yucca, Cresotes and wild desert plants! Tara is promptly touch with you by Airbnb message 24hrs throughout your stay. Upon booking, we send our guests a list of places to explore and shop in the surrounding areas of Joshua Tree, Landers, Yucca & Pioneer town. We can also send you a PDF of the home booklet upon request by email. You have the benefits of being in Joshua Tree and Landers! Central yet secluded with enough space from surrounding faraway neighbors. Our normal routes are to Joshua Tree town (16min drive) for the farmers market on Saturdays, Joshua Tree Coffee Shop and the yummy pie bake shop (Boo’s Organic Oven). Newcomers should definitely explore the little Joshua Tree town and check out the JT Park visitor center which has a mini museum of the trees and wildlife in the park. We go to Yucca Valley for the big stuff like groceries, Vons and Walmart. Then to Frontier Cafe if you want to hit up the latest local antique and vintage shops, wine and coffee shops! Afterwards take a loop back to the house on Old Woman Springs road through Flamingo Heights for coffee/pizza at the Giant Rock Meeting Room, have a fabulous dinner at La Copine, pick up an orchid/tour the famous Gubler’s Orchids, mediate on Giant Rock and vibrationally cleanse for a magical experience at the Sound Integratron (must book in advance). Don’t forget to visit Pioneertown! Walk the old western town film set, have a fancy taco at the Red Dog Saloon and see the best live music in California at Pappy and Harriet’s! Take a day to explore the incredibly vast and breathtaking Joshua Tree National park, we are an 18min drive to the entrance which drives out through Twentynine Palms town. On the way out, pop by the 24 Palms Inn in Wonder Valley for cocktails or dinner, take a peek at their little oasis. We got it all in the hi-desert! A car is required. There are two parking spots under the carport and space for two more cars behind.
