Comfortable queen bed and full size rollout sofa, all linens provided, full kitchen with gas range, full bath, sitting area, WiFi and plenty of outdoor space next to the beautiful creek. -The Property- The cottage is situated next to our farmhouse and is part of our 17 acre property, a beautiful mix of field and forest. 1/4 mile of gorgeous, private creek frontage runs the length of the property. Sit on the bridge and soak up the sights and sounds of nature. Feel free to take a ten minute hike to the pasture at the top of the property for a private, spectacular mountain view of the peaks of Todd. Or better yet, take a picnic, a yoga mat or a bottle of wine and stay awhile! We also offer a fire pit and provide firewood during your stay. -Farm Life- We have friendly, free range chickens and ducks that roam the property and provide farm fresh eggs for your enjoyment. You will often see them meandering around and enjoying the sunshine. Homemade bread and local coffee are also provided for you. We offer organic veggies from our garden and fresh honey from our bees, seasonally. We also provide handmade, all natural soaps that we make ourselves with herbs from our own garden. Bring your hiking boots and take a ten minute hike to the top of our property to soak in a wide range view of the peaks of Todd. The cottage is our guesthouse and located next to our farmhouse. Todd is a tiny, mountain town on a bend in the New River with wonderful hiking and biking options! People are friendly, and welcoming! The New River is one of the oldest in the world with great fishing, tubing and kayaking. We are 15 minutes from Boone and 15 minutes from West Jefferson. Parking is available directly in front of Creekside Cottage. We are easy to find with GPS. We have free range chickens and ducks roaming the property and playing in the creek. They are very friendly and provide fresh eggs for you to enjoy!
