The Wendy House with Breakfast Basket & Hot Tub

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem. The Wendy House is a newly refurbished straw and timber construction studio in Parkend with hot tub, a basket breakfast is provided. It is self sufficient having its own entrance and off road parking, at the bottom of the owner's garden. It is in an enviable position backing onto & adjacent to the forest in unspoilt countryside where wild boar and deer can be seen. Cycle trails and walking trails are immediately accessible. The space The modern studio has comfortable seating, bedroom with double bed, radiator & hanging space, 42" TV, WIFI, & Alexa. There is a fridge, microwave,dishwasher, kettle & toaster available, radiator and en-suite having walk in shower, hand basin, toilet and radiator. Guest access The property is accessed via a gravel path and up a few shallow steps onto a large planted patio area where there is a hot tub for visitors use (towels provided), outdoor furniture and sun loungers. This area is for use of guests only and prettily lit up at night. Other things to note There are two pubs in Parkend, The Fountain Inn, an established inn 250 years old and the Woodman together with the village post office who serve breakfast and lunch. The Nags Head nature reserve is nearby together with Cannop Ponds, half a mile away, Cannop bike park is only two miles away, bike hire is available. The dean steam trains are in the centre of Parkend, Go Ape and Segway's at Mallards Pike, Beechenhurst for families, Mary Rose pottery and numerous other interests nearby. Lydney, six miles away is the nearest town with Tesco as its main supermarket.
