Delightful 1-bedroom barn with a view

You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this historic place in a picturesque setting. The barn is built in 1892 and the bedroom still carries its historic feel with the hand cut lodges and many well preserved details like the original ceiling. Most of the materials are re-used, which adds to the feeling of the space. A grand romantic view over the fields will give a feeling of remoteness and escaping everyday. The space There is no running water in the barn, drinking water is provided and there's an outside toilet. You are free to use our cellar for storing your drinks/food in a cool place. You'll find a pub and a pizzeria in the nearest town Abja-Paluoja, there are also two medium sized grocery stores, gas station, spa and swimming facilities with a discgolf trail and a few second hand stores. We recommend swimming in Karksi lake, hiking on Õisu hiking trail or Soomaa, visiting Heimtali museum with its cozy atmosphere and exhibitions on handcrafted textiles. Viljandi with its cobblestone streets is located close by and also the Latvian border, if you continue your trip to the Baltics - in that case don’t miss Valmiermuiža beer manor!
