Relax in Downtown #2
Description
Downtown Apartment! This excellent location offers walkability to the Waterfront and Church St! The apartment is newly appointed and has all that you will need for your visit to our beautiful little city. The loft style bedroom has a queen bed and sitting area. The skylights add sunshine and star gazing (No blackout shades) The kitchen and bathroom are roomy and sparkling clean. Overnight parking for one car and a back porch add to the charm. The space The apartment is beautifully appointed with all you may need, including a full kitchen. The bathroom is also on the main floor and the sleeping room is up a flight of stairs. If you have any mobility issues, this is not the place you will enjoy. The stairs are a bit steep as it is a 125 year old building that has been renovated, but the steep stairs remain! Guest access The back porch entrance has an outdoor table and chairs for your use only. The cushion to the chairs are kept inside for your use during your stay. Other things to note The apartment is heated and cooled by Mitsubishi heat pumps. The remote is located in a holder on the wall across the room. These units work well but the remote is not intuitive, please reach out with questions about use and please do not alter the settings. Please Do NOT turn the units off when you leave…in summer when the A/C is much needed. Or in the winter when the heat keeps our pipes from freezing. The spring and fall is not an issue, and please do NOT use any buttons on the wall units themselves. They are emergency over ride buttons and they are fussy to reset and there is a delay in the input vs output. It is super easy to cycle thru requests and it seems to not respond, but does after a fair delay. Please Use the "too warm" "too cool" button to change the temp, or the “off” button while you occupy the space and can judge room temperature. These remotes and units do not work off a thermostat….they put out constant air at the temperature set on the remote. If you are not happy with the temperature, reach out and with a quick phone call I can be of tremendous help. There is parking for ONE car. If your party has a second car, you will need to park on the street, there is plenty of free parking in the neighborhood, or you will need to park in a local garage for a fee. There is also a city lot near the waterfront at the bottom of Maple street that allows cars to park. Please respect this request. A second car parked will need to be towed. Registration Details MRT-10126712.
