The apartment on the 1st floor of historical building (since 1890) with 5 m.high ceilings renovated to a studio loft with bedroom upstairs is an excellent option for max 2 adults+1 child in the center. Located near Baku Circus, within 7 mins walk to 28 may metro/airport express stop/railway station. The local market, grocery and bank are steps away. The building itself has a rich history: constructed in 1890 as one of Baku's richest person’s mansion as a great example of classic "Parisian-style" Baku architecture, in 1917 after arrival of Soviet Army and transforming the independent oil country Azerbaijan into one of Soviet Republics for 70 more years, it became a public court and temporary prison and held a lot of prisoners (maybe the same persons it welcomed as guests few years earlier). Then it was separated into many flats for soviet citizens and my apartment became home for famous Soviet comedian artist. After collapse of the USSSR it was abandoned for 20 years until I’ve bought it :) By the way the fireplace survived from 1890:))) so enjoy your stay! The kitchen is full-equipped so you can find everything: from tea and sugar to cooking facilities. Queen bed is new and comfortable. Bedding and towels are included.
