Cottage in Putney

In the village there is a wonderful Diner. A Coffee shop, Food Coop, and a delightful Gift Shop. Our General Store, is the oldest continually run general store in Vt. Walking distance to the village and all that is there. The Next Stage, Yellow Barn, Sandglass Theater, these places provide an amazing collection of visual, musical, spoken word and world renowned art and artist to experience. These cultural event locations are but a mile away for the Cottage I hope you choose for your stay. The space Originally built as a guest house. A perfect getaway for some peace and quiet. It gets dark here at night, very dark. You will see a sky full of stars most nights. Only a mile from the village on a dirt road. Very quite, private and in the woods. Extra care is put into cleaning every surface between guests. Keeping it very clean brings me another peace of mind I can share with you. Guest access You will have the space all to yourself. The guest house is for you and the folks you travel with. There is parking both just outside the doorway and a spot down near the road. Other things to note Cell phone reception is very good, no one to date has ever complained about not being able to use their cell phones. My cell, Verizon. Use your HotSpot for wifi. I am here on the property and available as needed. You will check in with me, learn how to use the wood stove. The Mini-Split is good climate control whether hot or cold. I can have a fire going for your arrival if you let me know you'd like that. Otherwise you are with the folks you travel with and me as needed. And there is of course, no smoking. The comfy queen size bed and cozy sitting area are in the full house loft. The skylights open as needed for spectacular views of the night sky. The ceiling is low; the space is quiet, cozy, and comfortable. .
