Description
Mesilla STR Permit #0830 We've renovated 90-year-old historic structures to create sustainable, environmental friendly spaces with rainwater harvesting, solar energy, electric solar-powered car charger. This renovated adobe casita is the 2nd structure after our main house. The 3rd is a smaller vacation rental called Yucca Casita. We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals). The space Ocotillo Casita has hand-painted Mexican tile and new appliances, fixtures, and furniture. We also have an additional rental casita on our property, Yucca Casita in Historic Mesilla, in case you have a larger group and would like to rent that (if it is available for your dates) as well. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit without a kitchen, but with a mini fridge and microwave. Those who stay in Yucca Casita share the laundry facilities with this unit. Guest access Mesilla is truly a walkable community with the central historic plaza, restaurants, shops, wineries, galleries, coffeshops, and a brewery along with walking trails all within 2 blocks of Ocotillo Casita. Many sightseeing and hiking opportunities (such as White Sands National Park and Organ Mountains/Desert Peaks National Monument) are short drives away. We offer free off-street parking for 1 vehicle. If you have additional vehicles, they will need to be parked along the street. Other things to note We scrupulously clean our casita after every renter and also block our calendar accordingly at least 1 day between renters to provide for thorough cleaning/sanitizing. While we use primarily natural products we also use disinfecting products to ensure that we are providing as much disinfecting support as possible. We offer bicycles and helmuts for guests to use. We also offer sleds to use while visiting White Sands National Park. Let us know if you would like to use these items. Guests acknowledge that bicycle riding or sledding involves risks and dangers and assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur while using the bicycles or sleds. Helmets are provided and required to be worn while using the bicycles. Helmuts may also be used while sledding. Registration Details 0830
